Community Day,Pokémon Ball Selection

Using Poké Balls

  • Regular Catches: If you have a large number of Poké Balls, use them to catch low CP Pokémon. Poké Balls are more easily obtainable and come in large quantities, making them ideal for frequent use during the event.
  • Resource Conservation: Use Poké Balls for easier-to-catch Pokémon, especially during Community Day when Pokémon appear more frequently.

Using Great Balls

High CP Pokémon: When encountering higher CP or particularly desirable Pokémon, Great Balls are a better choice due to their higher catch success rate.

Rare or Evolved Pokémon: If you encounter rare or already evolved Pokémon during the Community Day event, Great Balls help increase the chances of a successful catch.

Combined Strategy

  • Primarily Use Poké Balls: In most cases, use Poké Balls to save Great Balls and Ultra Balls.
  • Switch to Great Balls in Specific Cases: For high CP, rare, or evolved Pokémon, switch to Great Balls.
  • Utilize Berries: Use berries (such as Razz Berries or Golden Razz Berries) to increase the catch success rate, combined with either Poké Balls or Great Balls.

During Community Day events, I generally prioritize using Poké Balls for most Pokémon, especially those with low CP and common Pokémon. When encountering particularly desirable high CP or rare Pokémon, I switch to Great Balls. This approach allows for efficient use of resources while ensuring that more valuable Pokémon are successfully caught.

By following this method, you can effectively catch a large number of Pokémon during Community Day events while conserving some Great Balls and Ultra Balls for future needs. (If you are missing Pokémon, please log in to U4GM to purchase.)
